Financial Controller's Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members.
- Oversee job costing, WIP reporting, project accounting, and construction accounting activities.
- Manage financial reporting, general ledger functions, account reconciliations, and fixed assets.
- Drive process improvements, reporting enhancements, and accounting workflow efficiencies.
- Provide financial insight and operational support to executive leadership.
- Oversee payroll processes, labor allocations, and accounting system integrations.
- Qualifications for the Financial Controller:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
- Prior Financial Controller or senior accounting leadership experience.
- Previous experience in job costing, WIP reporting, and project accounting.
- Experience leading accounting staff and improving accounting processes.
- Foundation and/or Procore experience preferred.
