Cardiac Catheterization Lab Cardiovascular Technologist / Technician

In this role, you will prepare patients and equipment for cardiac catheterization and other invasive cardiovascular procedures, assist physicians during procedures, monitor vital signs and hemodynamics, and maintain a sterile field. You will operate and troubleshoot specialized imaging and monitoring equipment, follow radiation-safety and infection-control standards, and document care accurately. Prepare patients, procedure rooms, and equipment for cardiac catheterization and other invasive cardiovascular procedures. Assist physicians and nursing staff during procedures while maintaining a sterile field. Monitor patient vital signs, ECG tracings, and hemodynamic measurements throughout procedures. Operate and troubleshoot fluoroscopy, imaging, and cardiovascular monitoring equipment. Follow radiation-safety, infection-control, and patient-identification protocols. Document procedure details and patient responses accurately in the medical record. Respond to emergencies and support resuscitation efforts within scope of practice.
