Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) La Jolla, CA

Responsibilities: Perform patient assessments and assist with ongoing treatment planning Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing support Triage patient concerns and respond appropriately to clinical needs Monitor patient recovery progress and identify potential complications Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Educate patients and family members regarding procedures, recovery expectations, medications, and follow-up care Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals Support emergency protocols and clinical interventions when necessary Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Provide telephone triage, patient guidance, and care coordination services Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and exceptional patient experiences
