Klein & Associates Inc. is seeking dedicated and qualified Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our healthcare team at correctional facilities throughout California. Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 24 months of LVN experience within the last 3 years in a public or private healthcare institution. Active and unrestricted California LVN License. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting. Conduct routine nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions. Administer medications according to physician orders and facility protocols. Assist physicians and registered nurses with examinations and treatments. Recognize changes in patient health and promptly report concerns. Collect, label, and document laboratory specimens. Maintain accurate medical records and patient confidentiality. Respond to medical emergencies and assist with emergency care. Ensure medical supplies and equipment are properly maintained.
