Duties often included taking vital signs, collecting samples, administering medication, ensuring patient comfort, and reporting the status of their patients to the nurses. The overall function of a licensed practical nurse is to ensure patient comfort and safety. LPN/LVNs generally work at any location an RN works such as: hospital, nursing homes, long term care facilities or clinic.
Education/Requirements:
High School education is required along with completion of a formal training program. Must pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX)*Per Diem Shifts Available Recent Experience Required.
