The Role:
This is a generalist role handling complex commercial litigation matters, with a strong niche in business insurance coverage and recovery disputes. Represent both plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes contract, business tort and insurance coverage disputes, including bad-faith claims, in state and federal trial and appellate courts. Gain exposure beyond traditional litigation, including arbitration, mediation, settlement counsel work, legal triage and second-opinion engagements. Work directly with clients and firm leadership in a collaborative, team-based environment while litigating against some of the largest, best-known firms in the country.
Qualifications:
4+ years of commercial litigation experience (taking and defending depositions); insurance coverage experience is a plus but not required. Strong research, writing and analytical skills, with attention to the complex contract details others may miss. A collaborative, creative problem-solver who enjoys working closely with clients and colleagues.
