Job Title: Labor & Delivery Location: Lewistown, Montana Schedule: 7:00PM - 7:00AM x 3 Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension Pay Rate: $66 - $71/hrAstrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a L&D for a temporary assignment in Lewistown, Montana. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend. Responsibilities for a L&D:Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery Manage labor progression and respond promptly to obstetric emergencies Apply strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills in high-stakes situations Provide emotional support to patients and families during labor and delivery Provide safe, efficient, and caring nursing services to achieve high standards of patient care for Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics Administer medications as appropriate within scope of practice Perform cervical exams within scope of practice Interpret fetal monitoring strips accurately Prepare patients for operative deliveries as needed Provide postpartum education to patients and families Promote a positive birth experience and ensure optimal outcomes for both mother and newborn Maintain experience in Labor & Delivery practices Maintain current Montana RN license Maintain current NRP certificationMaintain current Stable certificationMaintain current BLS certification Benefits for a L&D:Weekly pay every Friday Medical/Dental/Vision/Life/Pet Insurance 401K Retirement Plan (matching) Full-service Credentialing and Corporate Travel Team Referral Bonus up to $1,500 Astrya Global Medical Staffing offers 10+ years of staffing experience, 100% domestic support, and is certified by both the Joint Commission and National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations.
