Job Description: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery (RN)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on maternal and fetal well-being, manage labor progression, assist with deliveries, and respond to obstetric emergencies effectively.

Responsibilities: Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery. Manage labor progression and assist with deliveries. Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies. Administer medications and perform cervical exams within scope. Interpret fetal monitoring strips accurately. Prepare patients for operative deliveries. Provide postpartum education to new mothers and families. Promote a positive birth experience while ensuring optimal outcomes for both mother and newborn.

Qualifications: Current Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor & Delivery required. Certifications in ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, and STABLE are mandatory. Strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills. Ability to provide emotional support to patients and families during significant moments.
