APPLY NOW (opens in a new tab)Human Resources Manager Ensemble Services is currently seeking a dedicated Human Resources Manager to support our team at Hyatt Place Pasadena. The ideal candidate will bring hotel experience, and though not required, bilingual Spanish is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy: Implement HR strategic objectives innovatively, aligning with global Ensemble Hospitality HR functions.
- Partner with GM/EC to deliver on Ensemble Hospitality's values, fostering high-impact team engagement experiences.
- Leadership: Serve as the hotel's credible Subject Matter Expert on Team Member engagement, culture, compliance, and talent development.
- Remain current on industry trends, evaluate process improvements, and engage in community activities.
- Culture: Integrate Ensemble Hospitality's Mission & Values into HR Ops initiatives.
- Create a vibrant workplace, championing recognition, wellness programs, and diversity and inclusion.
- Lead employee celebrations
- Lead the Team on community service engagementsHR Operations: Ensure HR standards comply with laws, conduct annual audits, and manage HR budget.
- Embrace and implement Ensemble HR initiatives, ensuring collective application of HR basics.
- Processing of payroll, payroll reports and month-end payroll compliance reports
- Talent: Proactively identify talent gaps and address shortfalls through onboarding, leadership development, and internal promotions.
- Perform annual salary and benefits evaluations, supporting a leadership and development culture.
Requirements:
Two-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major; two years of experience in HR or management operations. Or Four-year bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related major; two years of experience in HR or management operations. Paylocity HRIS & payroll experience. Hyatt Experience a plus but not required Union experience preferred.
