Human Resources (HR) Manager

Responsibilities: Serve as the primary HR partner for employees and leaders across administrative, production support, shop, warehouse, and field functions, providing practical guidance on workplace concerns and performance matters. Lead employee relations efforts by addressing conflicts, conducting investigations, coaching managers, and supporting fair disciplinary processes that align with company policy and employment law. Work closely with operational leaders and safety personnel to maintain compliance with workplace safety standards, manage injury reporting, coordinate workers' compensation cases, and support return-to-work planning. Direct full-cycle recruitment for technical and business roles, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and job-specific orientation for new team members. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations, with strong attention to California wage and hour rules, meal and rest break requirements, and documentation standards. Administer compensation and benefits programs such as medical coverage, retirement plans, leave programs, and disability offerings while helping evaluate pay practices against market conditions. Maintain accurate employee data in HR and payroll systems and partner with payroll contacts to support proper wage processing for both hourly and salaried staff. Help strengthen company culture by promoting consistent communication, employee engagement, and HR practices that support both operational efficiency and workforce advocacy.
