Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Queens, NewYork. This pivotal role will oversee all accounting operations, ensuring compliance withfinancial regulations and contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional value toour customers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Bank reconciliation
- Financial Statement compilation
- General Ledger examination and adjustments
- Workpaper preparation and documentation
- Financial Statement preparation and reporting for: a) Submission to tax preparer b) Submission to financial institutions c) NYC real estate RPIESupervision: AR, AP, Payroll, Rental income, Reconciliations, Insurances, Property taxes, etc.
- Support in decision making Enhancement of accounting softwares
- Analyze data and follow up on Internal Control matters
- Handling corporate tax matters and compliance issues.
- Any other matters as part of managers workload.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate accounting or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and GAAP principles.
Proficiency in financial statement preparation and analysis.
Experience with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Acumatica, Yardi).Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments. xhqgsiq Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
