Vice President, Underwriting Cyber

About the Role: The Company is seeking a Vice President of Cyber Underwriting to set underwriting strategy, grow a profitable portfolio, and develop broker and client relationships. The role leads a team of underwriters, setting production goals, reviewing referrals, and overseeing hiring, performance, and team development. Responsibilities include evaluating complex cyber and related risks, applying underwriting guidelines and pricing tools, meeting new and renewal business targets, and building relationships with capacity providers. The Vice President will also serve as a subject matter expert and contribute to broader business initiatives. Candidates should have 8–12 years of relevant underwriting experience and a strong understanding of technical underwriting principles and risk assessment. A bachelor's degree in risk management, finance, business, or a related field is preferred, as are professional designations such as CPCU or AU. Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills, sound judgment with complex risks, and a record of building broker and client relationships are required.
