Senior Media Relations Specialist

PAN Communications is looking for a Senior Media Relations Specialist with 5+ years of relevant PR experience to develop and execute media relations strategies that drive high-impact coverage, with a strong focus on top-tier press opportunities. Interested candidates should have a strong understanding of the B2B technology landscape across multiple verticals, along with proven experience translating complex topics into relevant, timely stories that resonate with both business and technology media. As a Senior Media Relations Specialist, you will: Lead creative media outreach, from story ideas and pitches to reporter engagement, securing high-impact, top-tier business, technology, trade and broadcast coverage Serve as a trusted earned media adviser to internal and external stakeholders; independently develop and present client-specific strategies with account leadership Contribute media angles, strategic insights and relevant relationships to client meetings and new business pitches Manage pitch calendars, media lists, and media and influencer relationships to help teams meet and exceed program goals Track industry trends and news cycles to develop timely stories aligned with client messaging Report client news, coverage, trends and media performance, providing status updates, actionable insights and troubleshooting support Manage briefing documents, talking points, media preparation and interviews with account teams and clients Write compelling content that reflects each client’s voice and messaging and reaches the right audience Collaborate across offices, time zones and team levels, incorporating constructive feedback Mentor junior colleagues, contribute to brainstorms, training and media best practices, and support agency tools, resources and promotions Be highly motivated and looking for a home that provides long-term growth opportunity
