Dispatcher

Responsibilities: Coordinate driver assignments and dispatch activity to help ensure timely coverage across hub operations. Oversee day-to-day floor activity, track workflow progress, and address disruptions before they affect service levels. Work alongside operational leadership to support dispatcher performance and provide hands-on assistance throughout the shift. Make informed real-time decisions to adjust routing, staffing focus, or task priorities as volume and conditions change. Confirm successful driver releases and follow through on dispatch completion to keep deliveries and movements on track. Identify operational bottlenecks, communicate issues clearly, and assist with practical solutions to maintain efficiency. Step into support tasks as needed to keep the hub functioning effectively during high-demand periods. Use dispatch and communication tools to coordinate logistics, share updates, and maintain accurate operational visibility. Prior experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or a similar fast-moving operations environment. Strong customer service and communication skills, including experience handling high-volume calls or service requests. Comfortable using computer-aided dispatch systems and other digital tools to manage daily activity. Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and Slack for tracking information and communicating with teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities at once while maintaining accuracy and sound decision-making. Solid computer literacy with the ability to learn new systems and navigate operational platforms efficiently. Proven ability to stay organized and effective in a time-sensitive, high-volume setting.
