Key responsibilities: Oversee corporate governance, licensing, and compliance frameworks across multiple jurisdictions Serve as the primary legal partner for internal teams, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and managing disputes Develop and execute government affairs strategies, maintaining relationships with regulators and monitoring legislative developmentsRequired qualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state 5+ years of legal experience, preferably in-house within regulated industries such as gaming or fintech Direct experience with state-level licensing and regulatory compliance Strong commercial contracting skills with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives Experience using AI tools in legal work and a startup mentality with comfort in ambiguity
