Low Voltage Data Center Technician

Responsibilities: Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6A cabling. Test installed cable using Fluke or similar testers. Punch down voice and data jacks. Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, and MDF/IDF infrastructure. Work safely on ladders and lifts while remaining comfortable working at heights. Read and interpret blueprints, cabling plans, and system layouts. Install and support structured cabling, fiber optic systems, and related data center infrastructure. Assist with rack-and-stack, cable management, and data center installation projects.

Requirements: 0+ years of commercial or industrial low-voltage experience. Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, fiber, or security systems preferred. Data center experience is a plus. BICSI, lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus. Basic hand tools and PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, and steel-toe boots).Basic working knowledge of telecommunications and data networks.
