Responsibilities:
- Lead and support onsite low voltage technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety standards
- Manage daily project tasks and help keep installations on schedule
- Oversee and perform installation, termination, dressing, and labeling of CAT5/CAT6 cabling
- Work with fiber connectivity and data/network infrastructure
- Punch down voice and data jacks, ensuring secure and reliable connections
- Install and work with patch panels, cable trays, and related network equipment
- Install cameras and related low voltage equipment
- Interpret and work from blueprints, system layouts, and technical drawings
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on commercial or industrial low voltage, structured cabling, or network experience
- Proven experience leading crews or working in a lead technician role
- Strong working knowledge of telecom, data, and network infrastructureBICSI experience or certification highly preferred
- Fiber connectivity experience and/or certifications
- Experience with CAT5/CAT6, punch-downs, RJ45 crimpers, patch panels, and cable trays
- Camera installation experience
- Manufacturer certifications are a plus
- Must possess basic hand tools and required PPENo travel currently required for temporary employees
