Personal Injury Attorney - General Liability

Responsibilities: Independently manage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters Handle motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, general negligence, and other general liability matters Develop case strategy and evaluate liability, damages, and settlement value Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents Conduct and defend depositions Handle court appearances, conferences, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel Review medical records and work with medical providers and experts Prepare cases for trial and collaborate with litigation and trial teams Maintain consistent communication with clients Track deadlines and ensure cases continue progressing toward resolution Qualifications 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience New York Bar admission and good standing Significant experience handling MVA and General Liability cases Plaintiff-side personal injury experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of New York personal injury law and civil litigation procedure Experience conducting depositions and appearing in New York courts Strong negotiation and case-evaluation skills Excellent written and oral advocacy skills Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload Highly organized, proactive, and deadline-driven Trial experience is a plus
