Experienced Personal Injury Attorney - General Liability & MVA

What You'll Be Doing: Independently manage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters Handle motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, general negligence, and other general liability matters Develop case strategy and evaluate liability, damages, and settlement value Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery demands and responses, and other litigation documents Conduct and defend depositions Handle court appearances, conferences, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel Review medical records and work with medical providers and experts Prepare cases for trial and work closely with our litigation and trial teams Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the litigation process Ensure cases are actively progressing and all court, discovery, and internal deadlines are met

What We're Looking For: Minimum 5 years of personal injury litigation experience New York State Bar admission and good standing Significant experience handling MVA and General Liability cases Plaintiff-side personal injury experience strongly preferred Strong working knowledge of New York personal injury law and civil litigation procedure Experience conducting depositions and appearing in New York courts Strong negotiation and case-evaluation skills Excellent written and oral advocacy skills Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload Highly organized, proactive, and deadline-driven Trial experience is a plus The Right Candidate We are looking for someone who knows how to move cases.
