Description:
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 2 years of specialty experience and a DC RN license. Details Hospital-based Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit Night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week13-week assignment Cerner EMR used
Requirements:
- Active RN license in DC requiredBLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)NIHSS certification requiredMinimum 2 years of RN experience requiredMinimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience in a US hospital required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program requiredBSN highly desired
- Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the last 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
Additional Information:
- Perform patient assessments, including admission and ongoing evaluations, in accordance with policy and procedures
- Deliver age-appropriate, competent, and efficient nursing care across the patient lifespan
- Interpret patient data to determine appropriate nursing interventions and treatment needs
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for consideration
