The Opportunity:
- I am partnering with a Top 100 CPA firm. They are rapidly expanding their footprint and looking for an experienced Payroll Supervisor to join their finance team on Long Island.
- Reporting directly to the Controller, you will step into a highly visible role managing a complex, multi-entity payroll architecture with robust resources and clear paths for upward career mobility.
- The Role & ScopeDirect Report: Controller
- Scale: Managing payroll operations for 500+ employees
- Entities: Overseeing 4 distinct entities covering a diverse workforce (Interns, Managers, Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners)
- Schedules: Navigating multi-tiered pay frequencies, including Bi-weekly and Monthly schedules
Key Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum of 3+ years of dedicated payroll processing experience. (Note: Experience inside a CPA firm is not required—corporate backgrounds are highly welcome!)Systems: Hands-on, proficient experience with Workday is a strict requirement. (Bonus points if you also have experience with ADP!)Compliance: Strong, practical knowledge of payroll tax laws and multi-entity configurations.
