Dispensary Manager (Queens)

Our Client, a licensed retail operator based in New York, is hiring an experienced Dispensary Manager to lead the launch and ongoing operations of a new cannabis retail location in Queens, New York. The ideal candidate has experience opening a retail store or dispensary, including hiring and developing a team, coordinating grand opening events, and driving customer traffic. They are digitally savvy, skilled at building local relationships, and understand how to leverage social media, technology, and community partnerships to grow a business. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Store Opening & Community Engagement Lead pre-opening preparations, staffing, training, and grand opening execution. Build and develop a high-performing team focused on customer experience, education, and sales. Drive local awareness through community outreach, grassroots marketing, partnerships, and launch events. Establish relationships with neighboring businesses, community organizations, and local influencers. Digital Engagement & Technology Leverage social media, digital platforms, loyalty programs, and CRM tools to increase awareness and customer retention. Use customer insights and sales data to identify growth opportunities and improve performance. People Leadership & Store Operations Oversee daily operations, scheduling, training, performance management, and employee development. Manage sales performance, budgets, labor costs, inventory, cash handling, and store profitability. Partner with corporate teams to support business goals and continuous improvement. Compliance, Safety & Security Ensure compliance with applicable New York State cannabis regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies.
