APPLY NOW (opens in a new tab)To support the Online undergraduate English class for the upcoming Fall quarter, a passionate part-time English Faculty will engage with students in remote classrooms, assist in managing communications, and provide supplemental instruction to enhance student success.
Key responsibilities:
Analyze student activity and respond to discussions and assessments based on input from the lead instructor
Assist in managing student communications and escalate unique issues to the lead instructor
Provide tutoring and support, including grading and feedback, to enhance student engagement and success
Required qualifications:
Master's degree in English or Communication from a regionally accredited institution; a terminal degree is preferred
Previous teaching experience is required, with online teaching experience preferred
Professional certification in discipline specialty may be required based on course credentialing
Experience working with diverse learning styles and technology for facilitating learning
Availability to work on Saturdays is required
