Residential & Light Commercial HVAC Installer

Boston Standard / New England Ductless seeks an HVAC Installer to install and start up heating, cooling, and ductless mini-split systems in residential and light commercial properties across Greater Boston. You’ll handle ductwork, piping, wiring connections, and equipment placement while ensuring clean, code-compliant, and efficient installs. Work in a collaborative, hands-on team that values craftsmanship, reliability, and respect. Install residential and light commercial HVAC and ductless mini-split systems Fabricate and install ductwork, line sets, condensate, and venting per code Perform equipment start-up, testing, and commissioning to manufacturer specs Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and job scopes to execute quality installs Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites and follow OSHA and company safety standards Communicate clearly with homeowners, contractors, and team members about work performed Troubleshoot basic installation issues and collaborate with service teams as needed Document work completed, materials used, and system information accurately Participate in training to expand technical skills and stay current on new equipment Represent the company professionally and uphold a customer-first, respectful culture HVAC installation Ductless mini-split systems Sheet metal fabrication and ductwork Brazing and soldering Basic electrical for HVAC System start-up and commissioning Refrigerant handling and charging Blueprints and schematics reading Use of HVAC diagnostic tools Customer service and communication Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k EPA 608 Certification OSHA 10 Certification Massachusetts refrigeration or HVAC license (preferred) Valid driver’s license with clean record NATE certification (preferred)
