Small Business Insurance Account Manager

Gallagher is seeking a Small Business Client Service Manager to support small commercial insurance clients with exceptional service and account management. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of small business accounts, coordinate policy placement and renewals, process endorsements, and respond promptly to client inquiries. You will collaborate with producers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve issues, ensure coverage accuracy, and support risk management solutions. You will also help identify cross-sell opportunities, maintain detailed documentation, and uphold Gallagher’s standards of integrity, compliance, and client-focused service. Manage a portfolio of small business insurance clients and serve as primary contact Coordinate policy placement, renewals, endorsements, and certificates Respond to client inquiries and resolve coverage, billing, and service issues Collaborate with producers, carriers, and internal teams to deliver solutions Review policies for accuracy and ensure compliance with regulations and procedures Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to support client risk management needs Maintain thorough documentation in agency management systems and CRM tools Prepare client presentations, proposals, and renewal summaries Support claims reporting and follow-up with clients and carriers Promote Gallagher’s client-focused, ethical, and relationship-driven culture Commercial property and casualty insurance knowledge Client relationship management Policy administration and documentation Risk assessment and coverage analysis Insurance agency management systems (e.g., Epic, Applied) CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency Data accuracy and attention to detail Negotiation and problem-solving Verbal and written communication Time management and organization Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Property & Casualty Insurance License (state-specific) CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) preferred CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) a plus Familiarity with insurance agency management systems Knowledge of commercial P&C insurance products
