Industrial HVAC and Refrigeration Technician – Manufacturing

Cargill is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to support our manufacturing facilities. In this role, you will install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems critical to safe, reliable food production. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, monitor building automation controls, and ensure optimal climate conditions that support quality and food safety. Install, maintain, and repair industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems in a manufacturing environment Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to maximize equipment uptime and energy efficiency Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using meters, gauges, and diagnostic tools Monitor and adjust controls to maintain proper temperature, humidity, and air quality for food production Follow safety, sanitation, and environmental procedures in line with Cargill and regulatory standards Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and parts usage in maintenance systems Collaborate with production, engineering, and EHS teams to minimize downtime and improve system reliability Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend system upgrades or process changes Industrial HVAC maintenance Refrigeration systems Preventive maintenance Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting Building automation systems Brazing and welding Interpreting technical schematics Use of HVAC diagnostic tools EPA refrigerant handling Safety and lockout/tagout procedures Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k EPA Section 608 Certification State or local HVAC license (where required) OSHA safety training Refrigeration certification (preferred)
