Media and Entertainment Litigation Associate

Duties: Defend copyright, trademark, idea-submission, and other claims against films, television series, podcasts, and digital content. Litigate defamation, right-of-publicity, and related claims in state and federal courts. Represent significant names in media and entertainment, including studios and production companies. Draft briefs, discovery requests, legal analyses, and other litigation documents. Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.

Requirements: 3-5 years of litigation experience at a law firm. Excellent analytical and legal writing skills with a proactive mentality. A desire to own cases and maintain high standards for work product. Comfort working directly with clients and mentoring junior lawyers. A genuine interest in content disputes; prior media or entertainment experience is a plus. Education JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications: Admission to practice law in California. Skills Strong judgment and attention to detail. Ability to integrate into case strategy and client relationships early.
