Senior Employment Litigation Associate Attorney / Of Counsel - Multinational Mass Media & Entertainment Client

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Position Overview: The ideal candidate will have substantial experience independently managing employment litigation matters through all phases of litigation, from case strategy and discovery through resolution. This role offers significant responsibility and the opportunity to serve as a trusted legal advisor to a sophisticated multinational client.

Responsibilities: Independently manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution. Develop case strategy and oversee litigation workstreams. Draft and respond to pleadings and other litigation documents. Manage written and electronic discovery. Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions. Take and defend depositions. Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Manage deadlines and case-related workflows. Maintain strong, direct client relationships. Provide practical legal advice and strategic guidance to the client. Manage multiple sophisticated matters in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals across the practice. Incorporate emerging legal technology and tools into the practice where appropriate.

Qualifications: 6+ years of employment litigation experience. Demonstrated ability to independently manage employment litigation matters. Significant experience handling matters through all phases of litigation. Experience with pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and depositions. Experience participating in mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Strong case management and client relationship skills. Excellent academic credentials. Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills. Strong judgment and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines. Self-starter who works effectively both independently and collaboratively. Interest in leveraging technology to enhance legal practice. J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school. Admission to the California Bar required.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $260,000+ annually, with actual compensation dependent on experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
