Seeking a seasoned New York Senior Counsel, this hybrid role will independently manage court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials while providing leadership to junior attorneys and cultivating client relationships.
Key responsibilities:
Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff strategies
Independently handle all aspects of litigation, including court appearances and trial preparation
Provide mentorship and direction to less experienced attorneys
Required qualifications:
JD from an ABA-approved law school
Active bar license in the State of New York
8+ years of litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
Proficient in managing full case handling responsibilities
Experience with time management systems and MS Suite
