Patent Counsel - US Licensed

Key responsibilities: Identify patentable subject matter in collaboration with Amgen scientists Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications worldwide Conduct due diligence and provide legal advice on intellectual property-related mattersRequired qualificationsJ.D. or LL.M. degree from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction Four or more years of experience in intellectual property law Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Experience in U.S. and foreign intellectual property law related to biotechnology Advanced degree in organic or medicinal chemistry is preferred
