Collaborating with and reporting to the Director and Chair of the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program, the Capstone Coordinator will create and maintain an exceptional doctoral capstone curriculum for occupational therapy students. Maintain current knowledge of occupational therapy literature, reimbursement, and ACOTE standards as they relate to the doctoral capstone. Assist in development and design of the capstone portions of the curriculum and individual student doctoral capstone experiences and projects such that they reflect the curriculum design and meet ACOTE standards. Provide student clinical plan of study, capstone, and academic advising. In collaboration with other occupational therapy faculty, coordinate, plan, prepare, and carry out capstone courses in a way which strengthens the ties between didactic, fieldwork, and capstone education.
