The IDD Service Coordinator monitors the care and services provided to intellectually and developmentally delayed (IDD) individuals to ensure they are living their best possible life.. The IDD Service Coordinator advocates for the individual to ensure optimum quality of life.. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human growth and development, physician assistance, gerontology, special education, educational psychology, early childhood education or early childhood intervention or a bachelor's degree with at least 30 hours of coursework in the previous fields.. Must obtain QIDP certification within 6 months of hire.. Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
Collaborating with and reporting to the Director and Chair of the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program, the Capstone Coordinator will create and maintain an exceptional doctoral capstone curriculum for occupational therapy students. Maintain current knowledge of occupational therapy literature, reimbursement, and ACOTE standards as they relate to the doctoral capstone. Assist in development and design of the capstone portions of the curriculum and individual student doctoral capstone experiences and projects such that they reflect the curriculum design and meet ACOTE standards. Provide student clinical plan of study, capstone, and academic advising. In collaboration with other occupational therapy faculty, coordinate, plan, prepare, and carry out capstone courses in a way which strengthens the ties between didactic, fieldwork, and capstone education.
The flex teacher is responsible for collaborating with the teachers, staff and management team to assist with the day-to-day operations of our school.
