Licensed Associate General Counsel

Key responsibilities: Lead the legal processes for product design, regulatory filings, and compliance, maintaining a comprehensive overview of state approvals and deadlines Shape regulatory and legislative strategies by responding to inquiries and coordinating licensing matters for domestic and international operations Serve as a senior legal partner to various teams, translating legal requirements into actionable steps and managing litigation strategies effectivelyRequired qualificationsJ.D. and an active license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction 8+ years of legal experience with a focus on insurance regulatory work and multistate product filings Significant in-house experience advising executives in regulated businesses Experience managing outside counsel in litigation and disputes Practical experience using AI in legal work, with a solid understanding of governance and confidentiality
